George E. King Jr. is a seasoned counselor with a passion for helping individuals achieve their full potential across various stages of life. Known for his patient demeanor, kindness, attentive listening skills, and calm nature, George has dedicated over a decade to mentoring young boys and men.

George’s journey in counseling began during his tenure as a Big Brother in the US Air Force, where he first discovered his calling to support and guide others. His experience as a school counselor further honed his expertise in assisting youths facing family challenges and academic struggles. Over the years, he has
positively impacted the lives of numerous school aged boys through his innovative Right Track Mentor Program, which has successfully mentored over 200 young individuals.

As an advocate for father-child relationships, George served as the All-Team Pro Dad Captain, and he facilitated over 200 father and children’s breakfasts to promote meaningful father involvement. His commitment to strengthening family bonds underscores his belief in the importance of supportive relationships in personal growth and development.

In his counseling practice, George specializes in a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, selfesteem, marriage and pre-marriage counseling, navigating life challenges, mid-life crises, bereavement, and issues related to marriage infidelity and divorce. His empathetic approach, combined with his own life experiences as a married man and father of two adult daughters, enables him to connect deeply with his clients and provide valuable insights and guidance.

Prior to becoming a licensed professional counselor (LPC), George served in the United States Air Force (USAF) for 20 years. After retiring from active duty, he worked as teacher and school counselor in the Dallas, TX area. George has a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling and a Masters of Arts degree in School Counseling from Amberton University.

George continues to be a beacon of support and encouragement for youth and adults empowering them to navigate life’s challenges and thrive in their personal and relational pursuits.

No Show & Cancellation Policy

When you schedule an appointment time, that time is specifically reserved for you. Once an appointment is scheduled, clients are responsible for full payment of that session.
If you are unable to keep an appointment, cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.
You will be charged the full fee for any missed appointments without 24 hour notice.
To ensure proper payment in the event of a no-show and/or late cancellation, clients are requested to supply a credit card that will be kept on file.
